Eligibility and Selection Process 

ELIGIBILITY: Applicants who have been working at their current company for a minimum of a year and fall in the age range of 25-50, identified as high potential, are eligible to apply to this program.

SELECTION PROCESS:

  1. Nominate: The Chamber solicits and accepts online nominations from members during a rolling nomination period, December 7, 2024-January 31, 2025.
  2. Apply: Once a nomination is submitted, we will invite the nominee to complete an online application during the application period. They are due by January 31st.
  3. Decide: A selection committee will review the application to ensure a well rounded cohort and let candidates know of decisions by mid February.

While self-nominations are accepted, please make sure you or your company are able to cover the cost of tuition before submitting an application. 

Characteristics of Successful Candidates:

  • Identified as an emerging leader in your company
  • Employed at said company for a minimum of a year
  • Aged between 25-50
  • Committed to the long-term success of the region
  • Dedicated to FULL participation for 10 months
  • Demonstrates diverse background, perspective, or demographic
  • Brings a unique perspective to the cohort

    Strong applicants exhibit demonstrable skills in collaboration and management, submit thoughtful and succinct application responses, receive a well-written recommendation, and show clear manager and company buy-in to the program.

    Small to mid-size companies and nonprofits especially encouraged!
